Role: Quality Engineer II

100% onsite role
Skills needed:
- Work on site relocation project within San Diego. Equipment and processes are being moved.
- Need to have hands-on experience with executing and validating equipment for bioscience, life science or biotech industry in general.
- Work with vendors on equipment like refrigerators, Spectrophotometers, centrifuges to complete validation in a timely manner.
- Need to do calibration, IQ, OQ depending on complexity and criticality.
- No need to have Class III medical device or pharmaceutical experience. Class I & II experience on validation is sufficient.
- Not looking for a manufacturing engineer or manufacturing quality engineer. Purely validation quality engineer.
- No need to have minitab experience but minimum basic experience with Excel.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotech or related. Less inclination towards engineering degrees like electrical or mechanical.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related role.
Interviews:
- Initial virtual interview followed by an onsite interview. The 2nd round depends on the first round.
