Salary: $100,000 - 110,000k
We are seeking an experienced Remote Sr. Power BI Analyst for an addition to a new team! This is a great opportunity to join a thriving publicly traded company and spearhead Power BI for a growing division to identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities of the Sr. Power BI Analyst:
- Power BI Development - creating new and maintaining existing dashboards and reports
- Analyzing Data - Analyzing new data, working on enhancements, ensuring accuracy and being a liaison to other business teams
- Help to identify areas of improvement and prioritize business needs
- Deliver actionable insights to drive decision-making, improving data quality and accuracy in key metrics such as Net Sales, Margin & Open Orders
- You will be a subject-matter expert in Power BI, Business Objects, SAP, and master data management
- Identify, analyze and interpret trends within complex data sets from various sources
Qualifications of the Sr. Power BI Analyst:
- Strong experience with Power BI designing and creating dashboards, reports and data visualizations
- Intermediate to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel - pivot tables, v-lookups
- Exposure to dimensional data modeling, data integration, data connections
- Understanding of financial acumen and principles - knowledgeable of P&L statements, balance sheets, cost/profit,
- Good understanding of relationsional databases
- Great customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong team player, collaborative and ability to build relationships
- Curiosity and willingness to learn
Bonus experience of the Sr. Power BI Analyst:
- Experience supporting sales teams data and reporting needs
- Experience within the manufacturing industry
- Experience with Data Governance
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
- Experience with DAX
