Our client is a reputable automotive dealership that is seeking an experienced GM Certified Automotive Technician to join their shop. This is a family run operation, who pride themselves on being a dynamic and innovative leader in the area. They are considered the pinnacle in defining the automotive experience to customers and is committed to treating their employees like family.
Job Duties
- Performs work per repair orders with efficiency, in accordance with manufacturer standards.
- Inspects vehicles and records findings in case additional repairs need to be made.
- Explains vehicle diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors in a clear, non-technical manner.
- Keeps informed of new information and technology by attending manufacturer training.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Develops and maintains customer trust.
- Experience using shop equipment (I.e. diagnostic, alignment etc.)
Accountability
- Customers are attended to quickly and treated fairly.
- Complete information is obtained from customers to identify needs correctly.
- All required training is complete and up-to-date.
- Work as a team to promote a friendly, pro-customer environment.
- Be goal driven with a strong desire to provide a high level of customer service; Tech Savvy.
Requirements
- Must have up to date/current GM Certified Credentials
- Experience in an automotive dealership a plus.
- Must have a clean driving record, along with reliable transportation
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow direction.
