Production Manager
Our client is looking for a detail oriented and dynamic Production Manager to join their well-established building material supplier that manufactures and distributes doors, windows, components, lumber, and trusses to both single- and multi-family home builders and contractors.
The Production Manager should have a strong working knowledge of performance and operations management to optimize productivity and employee satisfaction while building and developing their team to consistently meet goals and deadlines to insure department and company success.
Job Type: Full Time, On-site
Responsibilities for the Production Manager:
- Manage and oversee the production process from raw materials to finished product
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands
- Monitor and control quality standards to ensure finished products meet or exceed customer expectations
- Manage and control costs while maintaining the highest level of product quality
- Train, supervise, and evaluate production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Oversee and manage production teams, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
- Conduct regular production reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement
- Manage and control production costs while ensuring quality standards are maintained
- Develop and implement production procedures and processes to ensure that the production process runs smoothly and efficiently
- Continuously monitor production processes to ensure they meet customer expectations and satisfaction levels.
Requirements of the Production Manager:
- Minimum 3-5 years of Production Manager experience in related industries
- Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Business or related field preferred
- Proficient in Building Materials, Millwork, Windows, and Doors
- Proven work experience as a manager
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
