Construction Project Coordinator with our client within the Entertainment and Media Industryto jour client, OnSite, to report to their office in
Burbank, CA- $39/hr. Max Hourly Rate
- You will be supporting projects such as office suite remodels, tour expansion exhibits, building demolition and café renovations.
- 3-5 years of experience in construction services, architectural or general contractor firms, construction contractor license a plus.
You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the client facility. From utilities and construction, to landscaping and custodial, this department services our entire campus buildings, parking lots, streets and grounds. We support our production clients and corporate employees by providing a well-maintained environment on a historic film and television studio lot.
What You Will Be Doing- Assist Dir., Projects in project start-up, system set ups, timelines, meeting notes, communications for all Studio Services projects as required.
- Gather and track estimates from various WBSO trades and/or external vendors as required for assigned projects.
- Create slide decks and presentations for each project to present to clients and to share with Executive Management at Bi-Monthly and Quarterly meetings
- Assist on-boarding of new vendors with Procurement and Legal departments (requesting COI, Contracts, NDAs, passes, lot/building access, etc.)
- Maintaining a wide variety of digital department records including confidential project information and detailed schedules
- Assisting with organizing, categorizing and compiling of construction project materials
- Arranges outside engineer/vendor support services in coordination with Construction Services team, as needed
- Assisting with compliance reporting and tracking
- Compiles and updates detailed job update reports for distribution to clients
- Tracking of project timelines and milestones, material orders, equipment delivery dates, trade installation schedules, etc.
- Compiles and organizes project files, including as-builts, schedules, and budgets
- Organizing and maintaining project files, assisting with taking project meeting notes and providing status update and action item notes following meetings.
Who You Are- 3-5 years of experience in construction services, architectural or general contractor firms, construction contractor license a plus.
- Experience in project management support to one or more executives in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
- High School diploma Required/College or trade school specific certification preferred
- Previous experience doing project coordination
- Project organization and presentation skills
- Excellent computer proficiency and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as applications such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Adobe Suite
- Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Ability to keep information organized and confidential.
Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements- Familiarity with programs such as ProCore, AutoCAD, Bluebeam or Construction Cloud
