Procurement System Administrator

Our client is seeking a Procurement System Administrator to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for their procurement platform, ensuring the seamless operation of the procurement process as they transition to Oracle Fusion. This role will provide guidance throughout the procurement cycle, focusing on accuracy, quality control, and integration with accounting processes.

Key Procurement System Administrator Responsibilities:
- Guide the procurement cycle from start to finish, ensuring proper process adherence.
- Quality check purchase orders (POs) and other procurement submissions, verifying accuracy and completeness.
- Review integrated items from Sage, ensuring no gaps in data, and confirm all components are correctly processed as the company goes live on Oracle Fusion.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure correct information is provided and address any discrepancies.
- Act as the SME for the procurement system, managing all aspects of the platform and ensuring optimal functionality.
- Support seamless integration of procurement processes with accounting, particularly during month-end close.
- Import/export reports using Excel for procurement data tracking and reporting.
Minimum Procurement System Administrator Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle, preferably Oracle Fusion.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and experience managing procurement systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Sage is a plus, particularly in understanding the previous system's integration with the current platform.
Preferred Skills (Pluses):
- Experience with procurement software transitions.
- Familiarity with accounting processes related to procurement.
