The Role\u202F\u00A0
As a Principal Software Engineer for Digital Assets APIs, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a new API platform for accessing Fidelity Digital Assets\u2120\u00A0 Services.\u00A0 This is a hands-on role where you will work across engineering, architecture, and product teams to deliver a complete API offering that is reliable, resilient, and meets the needs of our customers.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring\u202F\u00A0
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field required
8+ years of software engineering experience
Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
Expert in designing, building, and documenting customer facing RESTful APIs\u00A0
Experience with WebSockets and/or FIX APIs is a plus\u00A0
Prior experience designing and building large scale production distributed systems to support public facing websites
Familiarity with AWS services architecture and solution patterns is preferred\u00A0\u00A0
Exposure to infrastructure as code, test automation, CI/CD, and containerization\u202F
Proficient in databases and SQL\u00A0\u00A0
Ability to build reliable software that can withstand unreliable environments\u00A0
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time\u202F\u00A0
Ability to collaborate stake holders to understand business requirements\u00A0
