Executive Director (LNHA)
A privately and locally owned set of facilities is urgently looking for their next Executive Director / Administrator. This is NOT for one of the large corporations. This organization is faith-based and implements their values across all levels of the team.
Their set of facilities includes Skilled Nursing, Memory Care, Assisted Living, and Senior Living apartments. All in, there are about 130 beds. The Executive Director reports directly to the COO, who oversees all locations.

Executive Director Qualifications
- Active LNHA in Iowa (required)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field (preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience as an Administrator at a skilled nursing facility
- Must be able to support a Christian based organization
- Must be a people person, team player, and a strong communicator
Executive Director Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management: Lead the day-to-day operations of the facility, including supervising department heads and staff, ensuring high standards of care and service.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations, including overseeing licensing, surveys, and audits.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgets, billing, and financial performance, including managing revenue, expenses, and resource allocation.
- Staff Development & Training: Recruit, hire, and train staff members, fostering a culture of excellence, respect, and teamwork.
- Resident Care: Promote a resident-centered approach to care, ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction and well-being for residents.
- Family and Community Relations: Serve as a liaison between residents, families, staff, and the broader community, addressing concerns and fostering positive relationships.
