We are working with a well-established, family-owned agricultural company seeking a highly skilled Director of Construction & Maintenance to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the planning, vision, and execution of the company’s new construction and maintenance department. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, development, and ongoing vision of the company's construction and maintenance strategies.
- Oversee large-scale capital planning and execution of capital projects, including managing budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Manage a portfolio of manufacturing construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align construction and maintenance objectives with the company’s long-term goals.
- Develop and implement operational procedures for efficient project management and maintenance operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to a team of project managers, engineers, and maintenance staff.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience overseeing a portfolio of manufacturing construction projects in an industrial or agricultural setting.
- Strong background in capital planning, project execution, and budget management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of regulatory compliance and industry standards.
Compensation:
- Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 (commensurate with experience).
