This position requires a widely skilled and highly flexible team member. Under minimal supervision, this person will be responsible for; groceries for both the office and the personal homes of the owner, prepare meals for both the office and home as requested, pack and prepare for a variety of trips throughout the year, assist with preparation for boating trips, dinner parties and perform a variety of office duties. The ideal candidate will be reliable and trustworthy and have a high-energy, fun and friendly personality, innovative and excited to experiment with food and meals.

Clean DMV driving record.
Strong computer and electronics skills (digital cameras, laptop, printer, PDA, iPhone, etc.).
Knowledgeable about nutrition and working around food allergies and food preferences.
Work with owners on meal planning and offer creative meals.
Be comfortable preparing different cuisines.
Be comfortable working in client's kitchen in accordance with food health and safety standards.
Willingness and ability to work in a variety of environments, including office, hotel suites, home office and vacation home.
Willingness and ability to plan for and/or prepare meals, both in the office and on the road.
Ability to regularly lift to 50 lbs and move up to 75 lbs and to regularly sit and stand for long periods of time, occasionally climbing, balancing, stooping, crouching, and crawling.
Ability to see and anticipate opportunities/needs and take care of them.
Must understand the need for maintaining confidentiality – Be worthy of trust, behave in a discreet manner.
Must be comfortable around dogs.

Responsibilities

Receive and unpack grocery order delivery.
Grocery shopping and pantry stocking for 3 homes and 1 office.
Inventory refrigerators and pantry. Place online grocery order for Monday delivery according to inventory, soliciting for specific requests. Discard old items.
Clean dishes, take out trash.
Creative weekly meal plans that integrate with owner's nutritional needs.
Work in office on assignments requiring no supervision.
Run errands as requested.
Miscellaneous administrative tasks, duties and projects, as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
1/3 of the job responsibilities will be travel.

Specific Travel – Catalina, 4th of July

Grocery Shopping
Prepare condo prior to arrival, including groceries.
Administrative and other duties as assigned.

Specific Travel – Pierre, South Dakota – 2 weeks at a time throughout the year and 4-6 weeks at a time specifically during hunting season (fall).

Assist with the set up and maintenance of the house and office space.
Grocery shopping
Meal preparation as required, including cooking breakfast/dinner for groups of 10 and preparing and packing lunches and snacks for hunting groups. This includes menu planning and grocery shopping.
Administrative and other duties as assigned.
