Position Overview:

The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, compliance, and will provide administrative support as needed. This position requires a proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of HR practices and labor legislation, and strong experience in Paylocity. This position is expected to be in the office full-time with flexibility for remote work upon management approval after a minimum of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize Paylocity for HRIS functions, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and reporting.
Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviewing, and onboarding.
Work closely with the VP of Business Operations and the Operations Coordinator on performing new hire orientations and facilitating training and development programs.
Working with LMT's Benefits Advisor, administer employee benefits programs and assist with benefits inquiries and issues.
Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
Maintain both physical and digital employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and labor laws.
Work directly with the Management team on maintaining and updating the Employee Handbook
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Support the performance management processes, including assisting managers in performance reviews and goal setting.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
Assist with and execute processes to effect change and increase organizational effectiveness.
Provide administrative support to various departments and assist with special projects as needed.
- Assist with planning and coordination of events and meetings.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar position.
In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Expertise in Paylocity.
Experience with talent management and employee engagement initiatives.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

Compensation details: 65000-75000 Yearly Salary
