Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in our kitchen. You will work closely with the culinary team to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards and meet the needs of our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan menus and create new dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Assist with catering events as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or a related role
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils, including knife skills
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
