Walker & Walker Law Offices, PLLC a busy, prominent South Minneapolis bankruptcy law firm is looking for a full-time associate attorney. We exclusively represent debtors and focus more on consumer than business bankruptcies. We also bring cases under various consumer protection statutes and there is room for work in federal consumer litigation.
We are looking for either a licensed attorney or someone who will take the bar this July.
Ideal candidates have a desire to work closely with clients and are willing to work out of any of our metro area locations. These locations are: South Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Blaine, and Brooklyn Park. The position has both client-facing and litigation/back office components. Occasional evening and weekend hours are expected.
After training our hybrid policy is that you can work from home on days for which clients do not want to meet in person, which is most days. Bankruptcy hearings are generally done by zoom or by phone.
Experience in bankruptcy law is not required. Other desirable skills are Spanish language proficiency, and computer literacy.
The position is full time and includes a retirement plan, health insurance reimbursement, health savings account, and paid time off. Compensation is commensurate with experience. The pay is mostly salary with some incentive compensation.

Hybrid work. You can work from home on days when no clients set in-person appointment with you. Most client work is by phone and hearings are almost always by phone also.
