Heidell, Pittoni, Murphy & Bach, LLP., with offices in Manhattan, Garden City, White Plains and Shelton, Connecticut, is seeking an attorney with 1-3 years of experience to work in the Shelton office. This position will primarily involve the defense of medical malpractice cases. HPM&B is widely regarded as one of the premier litigation firms and we are growing. Your responsibilities will include:
Working with the best trial attorneys in the field from inception to trial with the potential to second-seat trials;
Drafting and responding to discovery demands;
Appearing for court conferences and oral argument on motions;
Conducting depositions;
Meeting with expert witnesses;
Counseling clients on case developments and drafting status reports; and
Writing motions on a variety of complex legal and medical issues.
Requirements:
Must be admitted in Connecticut;
Strong research skills; and
Strong writing skills.
