RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an accounting and tax manager your main responsibility will be to provide outstanding personal service to a section of our small business clients. We interact with our clients on a frequent basis and our systems keep workflow running smoothly throughout the year. You will review the work of staff accountants who prepare the monthly compilations. You will analyze these financial statements and advise and consult with your clients. You will prepare and review business and personal tax returns and help our clients with ongoing tax planning. You will handle installations of new clients and back work projects. As the primary contact person for a section of clients, you will provide exceptional customer service to clients in long-term business relationships. We need your help to service our clients in an advisory capacity. This is a hybrid position, and you can work remotely, but would need reside in the area for training and client meetings in the office.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 3-6 years experience in the accounting & tax profession.
A bachelor's degree in accounting.
An EA or CPA is great, but certifications can be earned while you work here.
Prior experience with preparing monthly compilations for businesses.
Prior experience with preparing business and personal tax returns.
General knowledge of how payroll taxes and sales taxes work.
Desire to learn and grow professionally.
Current knowledge of technology & software. Computer savvy.
Highly motivated, energetic, happy, and friendly.
Professional attitude.
Great communicator with self-confidence.
Experience with client interaction.
Desire to work as a Team Member to build a firm.
Ability to manage multiple clients and multiple projects simultaneously.

COMPENSATION: Salary of $75,000 to $95,000 DOQ plus incentives based on fees generated.
