CDL Class A/B Delivery Driver:

1. Use truck-mounted hydraulic lifts or other accessories

2. Prepare reports

3. Direct and coordinate activities of workers or staff

4. Prepare safety reports

5. Operate cleaning equipment

6. Wrap products

7. Examine vehicle to detect malfunctions, damage, or maintenance needed

8. Maintain or repair cargo or passenger vehicle

9. Service vehicle with water, fuel, or oil

10. Use vehicle repair tools or safety equipment

11. Load, unload, or stack containers, materials, or products

12. Drive truck with capacity greater than 3 tons

13. Operate material moving, loading, or unloading equipment

14. Use established traffic or transportation procedures

15. Compare shipment contents to records

16. Determine loaded cargo complies with regulations or specifications

17. Follow traffic laws

18. Inspect transportation equipment for damage or defects

19. Monitor repairs or maintenance to enforce standards

20. Operate cargo handling gear

21. Perform safety inspections in transportation setting

22. Read maps

23. Transport passengers or cargo

24. Use geographic positioning system (GPS)

25. Use local or regional geographical knowledge to transportation

26. Use weighing or measuring devices in transportation

27. Verify cargo against shipping papers

Salary range $52,000 to $72,800 yearly

License/Certification description: CDL A and/or B with Hazmat Endorsement

No weekends, holidays or 24-hr shifts. 7-5pm M-F

VACATION 40 Hours: 0-2 Years Employment, earned 1.5 hrs/pay period 80 Hours: 3-5 Years Employment, earned 3 hrs/pay period 120 Hours: 5+ Years Employment, earned 4.5 hrs/pay period 160 Hours: 10+ Years Employment, earned 6 Hrs/pay period Sick Days: Eligible employees can take up to 3 sick day(s) per year as paid time off (PTO).
