BRIDGE INSPECTION TEAM LEADER

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Bridge Inspection Team Leader to join our dynamic team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of inspectors in conducting detailed bridge inspections. Garg Consulting Services, Inc. is a forward-thinking engineering consultant firm dedicated to shaping the future of infrastructure with innovative, sustainable, and resilient solutions. Position: Construction Bridge Inspector Team Leader

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $120,000-$160,000 per year

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of bridge inspectors, providing guidance and support.
Plan and coordinate bridge inspections according to established protocols and regulatory requirements.
Conduct thorough inspections of bridges, documenting findings, and prepare detailed inspection reports.
Analyze inspection data to assess structural conditions.
Collaborate with engineers, clients, and stakeholders to communicate inspection results

Qualifications

B.S degree in Civil Engineering
Valid Professional Engineering License
At least 5 years’ experience in bridge inspection.
Completed comprehensive training courses including NHI coursework (Bride Inspection/ Refresher Training, Fracture Critical, Tunnel Inspection, Ancillary Structures Etc.)
Highly motivated and independent with strong work ethic
Ability and experience to lead the work of others, communicate and maintain proper working relationships
Possess knowledge of bridge inspection methods and procedures. Must have experience with reporting procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Must have the physical abilities to traverse steep embankments, work within confined spaces, perform inspections while climbing structures, capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
Working knowledge of Bentley MicroStation/ AutoCAD
