Are you looking for a project management role working closely with leadership for an exciting and dynamic organization? One of the leading symphony orchestras in America, the Kansas City Symphony is seeking creative business minds to directly support President and CEO Danny Beckley in project management, cross-departmental collaboration, and external affairs.

As Assistant to the President, you will have the opportunity to manage projects across multiple disciplines, including live entertainment, organizational design, finance, and more. Working with a team of high-performing individuals inside of the organization and collaborating with partners in various fields, you will have the opportunity to help advance an organization in transformative ways.

You will serve as a direct link to the President carrying out the these and other representative duties:

Preparing, organizing and facilitating meetings;
Developing business and operating plans to support the Symphony’s portfolio of products and lines of business;
Equipping the President with information gleaned from research supporting the diverse needs of an ever-developing organization.

You will be working closely with management of the Kansas City Symphony and our 80 full-time musicians, as well as a great number of civic leaders.

The position is available immediately. Full-time residence in Kansas City is required.

Experience needed:

MBA or similar graduate degree
1-2 years of post-MBA work experience in business is preferred
