Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Event Coordinator located in Weymouth, MA. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning and managing dance competitions and conventions, ensuring smooth operations, coordinating with teams and vendors, providing detailed in-depth schedules, and maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the daily operations necessary to prepare for large scale events.
Organize and maintain certain warehouse inventory
Create in depth event schedules keeping accurate and organized logs as well as clear communication with clients.
Collaborate with team members to create clear goals within a budget.
Create post event reports in order to accurately measure success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing or related field
Preferred 1-3 years of experience in event planning, coordination or logistics.
Attention to Detail and Strong Organizational abilities
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Previous experience in the competitive dance industry is a plus

Working Conditions

Working conditions include in-office, remote work and travel, including overnight travel.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $52,000 - $60,000. Pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. including a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision benefits as well as 401K plans with a discretionary organizational contribution, generous paid time off.
