POSITION OVERVIEW

Ohlson Lavoie Corporation is expanding and has an opening for a Florida licensed Architect with a zest for Business Development and expertise in Construction Administration. This Architect will assist in the establishment of a new branch office in the Palm Beach, Florida area and will be on track for leadership and ownership. OLC currently holds contracts in excess of $80 million in construction cost in the Palm Beach area in different stages of design and construction. RESPONSIBILITIES

-Work with principal and senior architects to develop design ideas, considering client’s needs, building’s usage, and existing context.

-Produce detailed design and construction drawings

-Ensure that all work is carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations

-Be OLC’s representative in South Florida, conduct all in person Construction administration work, including conducting onsite visits to check on project status, attend OAC meetings, and report on project and liaise with construction professionals and engineering consultants.

-Lead the business development effort in South Florida and participate in local organizations to gain as much exposure for OLC as possible.

This is a management track position. You will be mentored directly by firm leadership, you will be given every opportunity to succeed and when you do, you will have the ability to transition into much bigger role including ownership track.

SALARY

Salary is dependent on experience, plus generous performance bonus based on superior results
