Seeking a Structural Engineer for our Indianapolis, IN, Denver, CO and Jacksonville, FL locations.

Responsibilities for this position will primarily include the preparation of design documents for commercial, industrial, and educational structural systems. The focus of work will be building design, connection design, miscellaneous metals design, steel detailing coordination, retrofit analysis, general structural consulting, project scheduling, and client coordination.

Responsibilities involved with this position will include:

Work with the clients in a professional and proactive manner as a consulting structural engineer to provide various engineering services. CSC is primarily involved in the design of steel connections, building design, and fabricator services. Your role as an Associate Engineer will support these functions.

Qualifications:

Must have BS in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a strong preference for candidates with a Master's degree + PE or SE registration. Must have a strong understanding of mechanics of materials and be able to proficiently perform a 'load takedown' for a simple structure.

Must have familiarity with the functionality of standard industry software used in structural analysis and design, as well as AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office products.

Ability to communicate effectively with department personnel, office staff, and other project team members; must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
