The Role

Do you want to work in a role where you will make a real difference to the users allowing them to control their own data and financial identity?

This Series B business is creating a highly configurable platform that allows users to generate their own unique digital fingerprint preventing sophisticated cybercriminals through their proprietary technology.

This role will report to the CTO and work under the guidance of experienced Staff Engineers. You will work in an agile environment alongside the backend team and product team to create features and improvements to the product roadmap. You will work in a hybrid setting 3 days a week from the New York office, once you are fully ramped the CTO is highly flexible in his approach but wants people to come together to truly collaborate, solve problems, and bounce off of each other when working from the office.

The culture is very much trust over control and as a Senior Engineer, you will be able to work independently asking for guidance when needed.

What makes you a great fit:

The role will suit an experienced Senior Backend Engineer who has developed high-quality server-side code in Node.JS, including web APIs, integrations, and asynchronous workers with both new and legacy third-party apps.
You will be experienced in API design and development.
You have worked within Microservices architecture
You will have worked with consumer data and understand the implications around data privacy.
Experience of software architecture in multi-tenant, heterogenous service ecosystems.

The broader technical team uses: Micro Frontends, Javascript, Playwright, Postgres, DynamoDB, AWS Lambda and AWS.
