BN&M is seeking a litigation legal assistant for its Conshohocken office. In this position, you will be responsible for formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence, including discovery, pleadings, deposition notices, subpoenas, trial binders, and reports to insurance carriers; conducting client and attorney communications; case and deadline management, including maintaining case documentation and scheduling; filing matters and documents with state and federal courts; calendaring; answering phones; scanning and distributing incoming mail; maintaining files in document management system, and additional tasks as assigned. Familiarity with insurance company guidelines is beneficial but not required.

Requirements:

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
Excellent reading and comprehension skills;
Excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills;
Excellent computer skills;
Ability to prioritize assignments; and
Familiarity with electronic court filing and paper filing procedures for various Pennsylvania courts, New Jersey and federal courts, including local rules and statutes applicable to work product; and
2+ years experience in a law firm setting.
