We are seeking an outstanding professional for a new position as Chief of Staff for a thriving accounting practice in Center City, Philadelphia (near Rittenhouse Square).

This role will be part of our Executive Team. As the Chief of Staff, you will work directly with the CEO and other members of Executive Management, supporting the Firm's daily operations and helping the Firm optimize overall performance. Your collaborative efforts will be crucial to our success.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the CEO and Operations team to achieve the highest operational efficiency and success. This includes assigning tasks to staff, managing client and internal communications, managing the schedule of the CEO, and managing the Firm's tax season workload.

• Designing the CEO's calendar to maximize overall effectiveness and availability to clients and employees.

• Handling selected client work and time sensitive requests on an as needed basis.

• Ensuring onboarding success for new clients.

• Providing a seamless onboarding experience for new employees.

• Evaluating current Firm processes, suggesting areas for improvement, and reviewing subsequent efficacy.

• Monitoring the productivity of accounting staff and working closely with staff and management to ensure client needs are being met.

• Acting as the point person for the status of client notices and various special projects.

• Managing firmwide software implementation and other special projects on an as needed basis.

The ideal candidate should possess and excel at the following experience, skills, and credentials:

• At least four (4) years of experience in public accounting focused on tax

• CPA Designation is not required but is preferred

• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize

• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

• Ability to build relationships and work well with a busy team

• Ability to work independently

• Strong Project Management experience
