Premier Ophthalmology and Optometry medical practice in Franklin and Milford looking for a full-time licensed optician/sales lead to manage our optical shops and lab in Milford and Franklin, MA. Applicants must have a proven sales track record and possess an outgoing and energetic personality. Must be comfortable dealing with older adults and children. The new manager will be responsible for ensuring the optical shop is neat, clean and relevant as well as managing all optical shop invoices. Must be comfortable with using computer spreadsheets for data capture and analysis.

A brand new 8000 SF state-of-the-art office in Franklin and a smaller office in Milford. We are also one of the rare ophthalmology practices to own and operate our own surgical center, the Cataract Surgery Center of Milford. Duties include the following:

· Lead sales team

· Staffing both optical shops

· Meeting with frame and lens representatives

· Maintaining inventory

· Perform in-house edging

· Keep accurate on-line log of sales and inventory

· Monitor prescription capture rate, develop internal and external marketing as well as reporting regularly to management

· Repair and adjust glasses

· Maintain Edger

Required skills:

· Onsite edging

· Familiarity with billing Medicare, Mass Health, EyeMed, VSP, Davis Vision as well as all other vision plans

· Minimum of 3-5 years working as a licensed Optician

· Minimum 3 years in sales

· Excel and Word
