Job Overview

The Event Coordinator position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about organizing the details for our private events. This role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing various aspects of events to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction.

Duties - To include but not limited to:

-Bringing a positive attitude to work everyday and maintaining a professional attitude.

-Responsible for all logistics involved in booking event business and providing the operations team with BEO's that are complete and accurate.

-Identify qualifying business potential, closing business, overcoming objections, negotiating, upselling and understanding the client’s needs and having patience and poise with all potentially difficult clients.

-Responsible for all private functions from organization to execution, including delegation of responsibilities

-Responds quickly and accurately to maximize all incoming event bookings (within 12 hours), contact target lists, confirms appointments, manages calendars, and cultivates leads

-Displays a thorough understanding of the full space including capacity, current menu offerings, pricing and staffing needs.

-Conduct client visits that are targeted and meaningful to build private dining sales

-Communicates banquet event information to the client and private dining management team via emails, verbal communication and weekly BEO’s meetings.

-Applies speaking and listening ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and guests.

-Communicates clearly to employees and fellow members of management with accurate and timely information in a pleasant manner and as a team player.

-Must have a positive and hospitable manner both on the phone and in person ALWAYS.

-Must thrive on creating and maintaining excellent client experiences.

-All employees may be required to perform duties outside their regular responsibilities from time to time, as needed.

-Overseeing the Reservations department for a portion of the day.

Skills:

Strong communication skills while negotiating and planning events

Fast and precise typing skills required.

Must have basic phone experience as well as enjoy communication via phone or email.

3 + years sales experience along with 4 to 5 years restaurant experience.

Strong attention to detail and proof-reading skills a must

Tripleseat, Power Point, Open Table and Yelp reservations knowledge a big plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
