Position Overview:

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented HR professional? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building positive relationships with employees? If so, then we want to hear from you! As a vital member of our HR team, you will partner with managers and employees to foster a positive work environment that promotes productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations: Assists the HR Manager for Employee Relations with workplace investigations and provide advice to operations managers related to employee relations issues
Unemployment Claims Management: Handle unemployment hearings and claims, representing the company and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Termination Processing: Oversee the entire termination process, ensuring it's handled legally and professionally.
Workers' Compensation Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date workers' compensation accounts with relevant state agencies, staying informed on regulations and ensuring timely claim reporting.
Benefits Administration: Process benefit enrollments and terminations, handle COBRA paperwork.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive working relationships with all employees (field and office) and external vendors who support HR initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
Strong understanding of employment law, workers' compensation regulations, and unemployment insurance processes.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Positive and professional demeanor with a commitment to employee relations.
