Allegra helps organizations grow through customer retention, lead generation, and donor acquisition programs. We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our Signs Department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail and has experience in signs, construction or other related fields.

Role Description

The position requires the candidate to install various types of signs and graphics. Prepare and finish signs, with light manufacturing. Light welding on site and in shop. Evaluation of sites for sign placement and location. Find center points for installation patterns on wall signs. Diagnose outages and issues with secondary circuits, and repair signs as necessary. Reviews drawings and determines what is necessary for the sign installation. Safely transport equipment and sign materials to the job site. Assemble and install signs according to the instructions and drawings given. Interacts with customers for sign offs on work-orders and surveys. Takes photographs of finished installation. Most importantly, OBSERVES ALL SAFTEY PROTOCOLS throughout the project.

Qualifications

Candidate must have 2 or more years of relevant experience involving demonstrated abilities in construction including welding, operation of heavy equipment, crane or boom lift, power tools, electrical experience, and have a good understanding of how to read engineered drawings and work orders; or any combination of training, education and experience which provides the following knowledge, abilities, and skills. Compensation will depend on experience.

The ideal candidate would be experienced with the installation and service for the following types of Illuminated and non-illuminated signage:

Pylon and Monument Signs
Channel Letters and Wall Cabinets
Dimensional lettering
Post and panel signs
Service of electrical signs
Electronic Message Centers (EMC)

Candidate must have:

Must have valid drivers license
A High School Diploma or GED
No history of Drug use.
Clean driving record.
Drivers license Class B preferred, but not required.
Drug screening and background checks will be required prior to hiring. Annual drug screenings and background checks are required for select vendors.
