Essential Duties:

Lead strategic growth initiatives to rapidly recruit high potential staff to Beacon Specialized Living Services.
Oversee the hiring, scheduling and conducting interviews, and on-boarding leading to the implementation of high-performance standards.
Maintain a positive and empowering environment that both challenges employees to reach their potential and provides for a caring, people-first, atmosphere.
Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
Conducts recruitment effort for direct support professionals (DSP), CNA, and other hourly staff, researches new candidate sourcing opportunities, and writes and places advertisements.

Required Education and Experience

1-3 years recruiting experience.
A background in mental health or healthcare is a plus.
Strong computer skills utilizing various software programs and applications.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in the areas of employment law, compensation, benefits, and conflict resolution preferred.
Ability to create professional employee communication materials.
Capable of working well with all levels of the organization.
