Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role located in San Jose, CA for a Office Administrative Assistant at Law Offices James Chau.

Monday through Friday 9am-2pm, 5 hours per day, 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

Please be willing to commit to working at least 6 months due to the need to train and get up to speed.

The ideal candidate is personable and patient and possesses a good bedside manner. Our clients are facing challenging times. You must also be able to communicate professionally, as you will interact with attorneys and court staff. Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask, adapt, and work independently are essential requirements.

Some of the responsibilities include:

• Communicating with clients.

• Coordinating appointments, hearings, and other meetings with multiple parties.

• Court filings and proof of service.

• Processing mail. Scanning and sending outgoing letters.

• Writing checks and paying vendors

• bilingual. Chinese or Vietnamese, is a plus.

Requirements:

• Familiarity working with Microsoft productivity software (Onedrive, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).

• Comfortable using and learning office productivity software, such as Adobe Acrobat, file management software (such as Dropbox)
