Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Grant Writing Expert to manage and oversee the entire grant writing process. This role will work closely with our operations and success teams, as well as directly with customers, to develop compelling grant applications. The Grant Writer will report to the COO and play a critical role in ensuring that funding opportunities are maximised to support both Vee’s mission and that of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Grant Writing & Management: Manage the end-to-end grant process, including research, writing, and submission of grant proposals to foundations and federations.
Customer Collaboration: Work closely with nonprofit customers to gather relevant information and align grant proposals with their missions and needs.
Internal Coordination: Collaborate with the operations and success teams to align grant objectives with operational capabilities and ensure seamless execution.
Grant Research: Identify and evaluate new funding opportunities from foundations, federations, and other potential sources.
Grant Reporting: Track grant deadlines and ensure timely reporting to funders on grant outcomes and impact.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of grant writing experience, ideally with foundations or federations.
Skills: Strong research, writing, and editing skills with attention to detail.
Communication: Ability to engage with customers and internal teams effectively to align grant applications with strategic goals.
Organisation: Excellent project management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple grant submissions simultaneously.
Location: This is a hybrid position based in Miami, FL. Candidates must be able to work both remotely and on-site as needed.
