GVTC Communications, located near New Braunfels, TX, is seeking a Regulatory Manager. This 75-year-old cooperative is dedicated to creating a fulfilling place to work, providing quality service and products, and staying active in the community.

The Regulatory Manager reports to the Vice President of Customer Operations & Government Affairs and, among other things, will be responsible for: Managing the company’s regulatory strategies, compliance, and filings; Establishing relationships with local, state and federal elected representatives; Overall management of state and federal Universal Service funding including budgeting and forecasting; Tariffs and Product Terms and Conditions filings; Carrier access billing and collection; National Exchange Carrier Association (NECA) and Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) data submission and compliance filings; Interconnection agreements with connecting carriers; Management of corporate contracts.

A successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be adept at dealing with and solving problems, and be proficient in Microsoft Office, Project Management/EPM, and NISC CABS software applications. A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience in the communications industry or similar field is required.
