OFFICE ASSISTANT

We’re working with some of the hottest young companies in the region and we are looking for an energetic Office Assistant to join our team.

This is a full-time, hourly position supporting our growing team. We’re looking for a resourceful individual with a non-stop positive attitude who loves a challenge, understands, and appreciates the sense of urgency required of our diverse team, and excels in a dynamic consulting environment.

The selected individual will be expected to work on-site in our Columbus Office 40 hours per week and must be available for work from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.This role is not eligible for remote/hybrid work.

SUMMARY

The Office Admin will drive day-to-day administration for our offices and work as an integral part of our business operations team supporting team members and clients, as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Whatever is necessary to ensure organization success! No ask is too big or too small.
Provide administrative support to the CEO and the Book+Street team.
Perform all reception duties, such as welcoming guests, purchasing and managing and stocking inventory of kitchen and office supplies, and processing mail and packages.
Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the office, including conference rooms, kitchen, and common areas.
Maintain electronic and hardcopy files.
Assist with internal and external events and logistics.
Provide operational support to the COO, including:
Assist in maintaining office technology (phones, TVs, internet, etc.).
Assist with new hire onboarding and set-up to internal systems.
Manage relationships with vendors.
Assist with marketing.
Perform other general office support functions as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS – MUST HAVE

Front office presence
Proven experience in an office admin, executive assistant, customer support or similar role with daily customer and employee interaction
Enthusiasm and curiosity to learn and problem solve with autonomy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Familiarity with front office and back-office operations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Gmail, Google Calendar, and other G Suite products
Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Whatever it takes attitude and the ability to solve problems and make things happen
Flexibility to participate in a variety of projects and the ability to attend business meetings and community events, which will enrich the learning experience
Ability to lift approximately 20-25 lbs.

At Book+Street we work in a highly consultive environment – not just with our clients, but among our own team. Selected individual will be expected to work on-site as part of a highly collaborative team in our Short North office.
