We are seeking a skilled and innovative Principal Engineer to contribute to the creation, refinement, and optimization of advanced electro-mechanical systems. This role will involve generating detailed mechanical designs, overseeing production challenges, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and improve electro-mechanical designs, including components, assemblies, and complete systems.
Generate detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs) using advanced CAD tools.
Collaborate with software, manufacturing, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Drive initiatives focused on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and quality improvement.
Utilize structured methodologies to troubleshoot and resolve design and production challenges.
Lead process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of manufacturing workflows.
Propose and implement design modifications in response to production feedback.
Provide guidance and technical support to resolve engineering issues across departments.
Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and engineering techniques.
Participate in ongoing initiatives aimed at improving product performance and reducing costs.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; experience in Mechatronics is a plus.
10+ years of experience in mechanical design, including proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Proven ability to work independently while thriving in collaborative team settings.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking abilities.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and structured troubleshooting approaches.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; additional proficiency in Romanian or German is advantageous.
