Compensation: $80,000 - $140,000 (DOE) + Bonus

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Plant/Process/Project Engineer to join our team. The candidate will assist and lead major project managing efforts for Big Sky's current and future construction projects in addition to leading our continuous improvement efforts. This position will be an integral part of our team and have a major impact on our success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Continuous Improvement & Cost Reduction:

Implement the latest tools and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or performance.

2. Capital Project Management:

Develop and define scopes of work.
Manage and maintain project budgets to ensure financial discipline.
Create and execute detailed work packages for seamless project delivery.
Coordinate and manage teams, stakeholders, and vendors to meet project objectives.

3. Process Support:

Create and interpret Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Provide technical expertise to support plant and process operations.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

Proven project management skills, including scope definition, budgeting, and stakeholder/vendor coordination.
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
Strong ability to create and interpret P&IDs.
Self-starter with exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and a process-driven mindset.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite tools.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

Experience working in a plant or process environment.
Hands-on and theoretical knowledge of mechanical equipment and systems.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (4 years).
Exceptional candidates with significant experience may be considered without a degree.
