Responsibilities:

Communicate with customers in person, via phone, and text, listening to their service needs and providing updates accordingly
Provide detailed explanations of services needed and estimated costs involved
Review service history and manufacturer guidelines to recommend necessary maintenance or repairs
Partner with service technicians to ensure work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards; communicate clearly with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and repairs
Monitor the status of ongoing repairs and keep customers updated on progress
Present customers with options for additional repairs or services as needed
Assist in managing warranty and insurance claims, ensuring all relevant paperwork and communications are processed correctly and in a timely manner
Facilitate the delivery or pick up of vessels with customers, ensuring all issues have been resolved and the customer is satisfied
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
Document and keep all systems and software updated
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

100% positive attitude required, no exceptions.
3+ years’ experience as a Service Advisor, preferably within the marine industry.
Working knowledge of marine vessels, service needs, systems, and repair processes.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn proprietary software and scheduling systems; Salesforce experience a plus
Customer-oriented; ability to clearly communicate technical details with empathy
Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple service requests simultaneously
Experience operating a Forklift is a plus
Willingness to cross train across Parts and Shipping & Receiving to provide coverage as needed
Bilingual in Spanish is extremely beneficial
Ability to work overtime as needed, with focus on spring and fall seasons
