About the Position

Berg Hill Greenleaf Ruscitti LLP, a prominent law firm in Colorado, is seeking a senior-level Trust and Estate Attorney to join our team. This position is ideal for an experienced attorney with a partial book of business looking to advance their career in a dynamic and challenging environment. This is a full-time exempt level position.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
7-12 years of post-law school experience in trust and estate planning for high net worth clients, tax planning, asset protection planning, trust and estate administration, and closely held business planning
Active license to practice law in Colorado (or ability to obtain licensure)
CPA certification or LL.M. in Taxation required
Strong analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills
Excellent client relationship management abilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Advise clients on complex estate planning, tax planning, asset protection planning, trust and estate administration, and closely held business planning
Draft sophisticated estate planning documents, including estate tax and GST tax planning wills and revocable trusts, andspecialized irrevocable trusts
Assist with trust and estate administration
Provide counsel on tax implications related to trusts and estates
Stay current with changes in trust, estate, and tax laws
Collaborate with other practice areas to provide comprehensive client service
Mentor junior associates and contribute to the firm's knowledge base

Compensation: Negotiable based on experience
