About the Position
Berg Hill Greenleaf Ruscitti LLP, a prominent law firm in Colorado, is seeking a senior-level Trust and Estate Attorney to join our team. This position is ideal for an experienced attorney with a partial book of business looking to advance their career in a dynamic and challenging environment. This is a full-time exempt level position.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- 7-12 years of post-law school experience in trust and estate planning for high net worth clients, tax planning, asset protection planning, trust and estate administration, and closely held business planning
- Active license to practice law in Colorado (or ability to obtain licensure)
- CPA certification or LL.M. in Taxation required
- Strong analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent client relationship management abilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on complex estate planning, tax planning, asset protection planning, trust and estate administration, and closely held business planning
- Draft sophisticated estate planning documents, including estate tax and GST tax planning wills and revocable trusts, andspecialized irrevocable trusts
- Assist with trust and estate administration
- Provide counsel on tax implications related to trusts and estates
- Stay current with changes in trust, estate, and tax laws
- Collaborate with other practice areas to provide comprehensive client service
- Mentor junior associates and contribute to the firm's knowledge base
Compensation: Negotiable based on experience
