Job Description:

A reputable law firm in McKinney, TX, is seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Take and defend depositions effectively.
Attend and participate in court hearings.
Provide legal counsel and representation in business law, construction law, and insurance defense cases.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in business law, construction law and/or insurance defense.
Skills: Proficiency in drafting and responding to legal documents, conducting depositions, and representing clients in court.
Work Ethic: Demonstrates a willingness to learn, excellent work ethic, and a commitment to client service.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload and work independently.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
