Duties

Installation, troubleshooting, service, and repair of product represented by First Technologies throughout the Midwest for STEM education in the K-12 school and technical college markets
Travel within the Midwest to schools/customer locations to provide services is required
Ensure a high-level of customer service, including addressing customer inquiries and technical problems both remotely and onsite
Clearly communicate next steps and provide initial product training to educators
Appropriately schedule work dispatched, prioritizing customer needs and balancing company profitability
Maintain thorough and accurate record of work performed, and clearly communicate work status to all involved parties
Become a subject matter expert through continued self-teaching of new product represented by First Technologies as well as industry trends
Upkeep and maintenance of a fully equipped service vehicle
Other duties as assigned by management

Skills & Experience

Must have a clean driving record
Problem-solver with good judgment and reasoning, able to provide alternative solutions and approaches to customer needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a team player who is able to maintain customer relationships
Good mechanical aptitude with initiative and innate curiosity to learn industry technology
Proven experience in technical support/service is a plus
Proficiency in CRM software is a plus
