Duties
- Installation, troubleshooting, service, and repair of product represented by First Technologies throughout the Midwest for STEM education in the K-12 school and technical college markets
- Travel within the Midwest to schools/customer locations to provide services is required
- Ensure a high-level of customer service, including addressing customer inquiries and technical problems both remotely and onsite
- Clearly communicate next steps and provide initial product training to educators
- Appropriately schedule work dispatched, prioritizing customer needs and balancing company profitability
- Maintain thorough and accurate record of work performed, and clearly communicate work status to all involved parties
- Become a subject matter expert through continued self-teaching of new product represented by First Technologies as well as industry trends
- Upkeep and maintenance of a fully equipped service vehicle
- Other duties as assigned by management
Skills & Experience
- Must have a clean driving record
- Problem-solver with good judgment and reasoning, able to provide alternative solutions and approaches to customer needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a team player who is able to maintain customer relationships
- Good mechanical aptitude with initiative and innate curiosity to learn industry technology
- Proven experience in technical support/service is a plus
- Proficiency in CRM software is a plus
