About the Company:

We are looking for a full-time IT Support Assistant to provide technical assistance to our team members and assist the Chief Technology Officer, in our New Orleans office. You will help install, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems, as well as support end-users. If you’re computer-savvy and enjoy supporting end users, we’d like to meet you. To succeed in this role, you should have a problem-solving attitude along with the ability to give clear technical instructions. You should be familiar with remote troubleshooting techniques and have the skills necessary to act as a liaison between third-party vendors, support providers, and team members.

Responsibilities:

Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking
Walk team members through installing applications and computer peripherals+
Diagnose problems
Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
Conduct remote troubleshooting
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
Report user feedback and potential product requests
Help create technical documentation and manuals, and maintain knowledgebase in SharePoint
Acts as a liaison between IT support provider and team members
Maintain computer and technology inventory

Qualifications:

Associate (Preferred but not required)

Required Skills:

Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role
Hands-on experience with Windows/Mac OS environments
Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
Knowledge of laptop and desktop computer operating systems including Windows 10, Windows 11 and Apple iOS system
MS Office Suite experience required
Sharepoint experience a plus
Netdocuments experience a plus

Pay range and compensation package:

Salary commensurate with education and experience.
