We are looking for a Health and Safety Specialist to ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement effective H&S programs in an industrial setting. You will identify and address workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and lead safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of safety standards and practices in industrial environments and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.

Your Role:

Design and implement proactive safety programs to foster a culture of safety awareness and prevent accidents.
Assess existing safety procedures, identify areas for improvement, and ensure they meet industry best practices.
Perform thorough safety assessments and inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement preventive measures.
Provide expert recommendations to mitigate identified risks and enhance safety protocols.
Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs
Stay current with company, state, and federal safety regulations, ensuring operations consistently comply with these standards.

What We're Looking For:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience (industrial safety, safety management, safety training, safety auditing, etc.)
Knowledge: Familiarity with California OSHA regulations and practices
Certifications: Safety certifications are a PLUS!
