Role Objective

Lead all fleet operations to ensure reliable operation of our vehicles and equipment.
Plan, coordinate, and manage fleet programs.
Ensure vehicles are compliant with all DOT standards and OSHA Regulations.

Responsibilities

Work directly with the operational team ensuring communication between the departments.
Utilize technology to report on equipment utilization and location information.
Evaluate the condition of the fleet to determine cost/benefit analysis.
Implement and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
Manage fleet expenditures within established operations and maintenance budget.
Manage fleet expenditures within established capital budget.
Monitoring fuel expenses and usage to improve fleet fuel efficiency.
Utilize telematics technology to maximize functionality of the fleet and fleet staff.
Develop and maintain relationships with industry vendors.
Maintain fleet compliance with all regulatory agencies.
Must be available for emergency response events.

Required Skills and Qualifications

2+ Years work experience as a Fleet Manager or similar role.
Experience in the electric utility industry is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in business or logistics
High Voltage Electrical Contracting and/or Utility experience
