The Human Resource Manager will manage and supervise the human resources team in all functional areas of Human Resources for multiple locations, with a focus on team member engagement, company culture and risk mitigation.

Manage the Human Resources Team through all functional areas, including:
Recruitment
Employee employment cycle (onboarding through offboarding)
Policy and process development
Ensure compliance and aid in risk mitigation in the following employment practices through education and training:
Government-mandated employment practices (Workers Compensation, FMLA, ADA, etc.)
Employee recruitment
Performance assessments (performance review, improvement plan, disciplinary action, etc.)
Compensation practices
Internal investigations
Licensure status of team members
Management practices
Coach, counsel and guide supervisors in preparation for discussions with team members on various topics, including:
Performance improvement and disciplinary action
Conflict resolution

Requirements

Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information
Highly skilled in effective oral and written communication
Knowledge of HR laws, mandates and internal policies
MS Office, payroll processing
Skilled in multitasking, organization, planning and prioritization
Proactive approach to problem solving and follow up communications
Goal-oriented with the ability to set and achieve objectives for the HR Team
SHRM-CP or HRCI
