The Human Resource Manager will manage and supervise the human resources team in all functional areas of Human Resources for multiple locations, with a focus on team member engagement, company culture and risk mitigation.
- Manage the Human Resources Team through all functional areas, including:
- Recruitment
- Employee employment cycle (onboarding through offboarding)
- Policy and process development
- Ensure compliance and aid in risk mitigation in the following employment practices through education and training:
- Government-mandated employment practices (Workers Compensation, FMLA, ADA, etc.)
- Employee recruitment
- Performance assessments (performance review, improvement plan, disciplinary action, etc.)
- Compensation practices
- Internal investigations
- Licensure status of team members
- Management practices
- Coach, counsel and guide supervisors in preparation for discussions with team members on various topics, including:
- Performance improvement and disciplinary action
- Conflict resolution
Requirements
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information
- Highly skilled in effective oral and written communication
- Knowledge of HR laws, mandates and internal policies
- MS Office, payroll processing
- Skilled in multitasking, organization, planning and prioritization
- Proactive approach to problem solving and follow up communications
- Goal-oriented with the ability to set and achieve objectives for the HR Team
- SHRM-CP or HRCI
