Education:

Minimum two years of experience working in an administrative and/or clinical role in a dental practice or medical specialty practice – preferred
Bachelor’s Degree – preferred

Job Responsibilities

· Verify patient insurance benefits before appointments, ensuring eligibility and coverage details for oral surgery procedures, including extractions, implants, and other complex treatments

· Prepare insurance claims for submission, ensuring accuracy in coding, billing information, and required documentation

· Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and financial responsibilities for upcoming procedures

· Track and follow up on outstanding claims and denials, collaborating with billing to ensure timely resolution

· Generate reports on insurance verification and claim status, providing updates to management as needed

Patient financial and clinical presentations
Answer incoming patient inquiries, schedule appointments
Maintain current and expanding knowledge of restorative, implant dentistry
Detailed tracking and communications with doctors and patients, including monthly reports and letters
