Education:
- Minimum two years of experience working in an administrative and/or clinical role in a dental practice or medical specialty practice – preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree – preferred
Job Responsibilities
· Verify patient insurance benefits before appointments, ensuring eligibility and coverage details for oral surgery procedures, including extractions, implants, and other complex treatments
· Prepare insurance claims for submission, ensuring accuracy in coding, billing information, and required documentation
· Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and financial responsibilities for upcoming procedures
· Track and follow up on outstanding claims and denials, collaborating with billing to ensure timely resolution
· Generate reports on insurance verification and claim status, providing updates to management as needed
- Patient financial and clinical presentations
- Answer incoming patient inquiries, schedule appointments
- Maintain current and expanding knowledge of restorative, implant dentistry
- Detailed tracking and communications with doctors and patients, including monthly reports and letters
