Role Description:

The Engineering Manager role will work under the Plant Manager. This position will be responsible for managing engineering, facilities, maintenance and automation.

What you’ll do:

Lead teams in development of automation projects and engineering solutions to improve costs and quality
Analyzes and communicates weekly metrics, monthly results, and quarterly, annual projections
Provide technical oversight to support facility management and collaborate with project management in the delivery of maintenance projects & construction related activities while ensuring the integrity and reliability of critical functions is not compromised
Ensure proper closeout and commissioning procedures are followed including the collection distribution and storage of all necessary documentation
Establish technical direction and oversight for all consulting engineers retained for projects
Participate in and manage all critical facility annual planning activities and oversee the timely and accurate implementation of strategic plans
Develop and manage facility operating budgets to achieve targeted savings while maintaining service levels and alignment with the clients’ goals and objectives
Provide input to annual financial plans and manage capital within approved plans/budgets while summarizing and sponsoring forecasted or unforeseen expenditures throughout the year
Provide input and justification to multi-year capital infrastructure plan for assigned geography
Reduce expenses by managing down operating costs with set PM Frequencies / standards while sustaining uptime integrity and minimize agreeable risk
Other tasks as assigned

What we’re looking for:

7+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing

5+ years of management experience

Plastic Molding Industry experience

Bachelor’s degree in engineering

Experience with agile software and product development

Effective verbal and written communication skills with a diverse team

The ability to travel ~10-15%
