The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters. This candidate should feel comfortable conducting research, scheduling, maintaining case files, and completing other ad-hoc requests, as needed.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
3+ years’ experience as a Litigation Paralegal

Computer Skills:

MS Word and Excel
Electronic document repository system
Internet navigation
Electronic search databases
Legal research systems

Candidates must:

Understand medical/injury terminology.
Prepare for depositions, mediations, arbitrations and trial.
Analyze data and prepare summary charts.
Review, organize, and analyze discovery, which includes, but is not limited to, financial and medical records.
Perform legal and investigative research.
Prioritize work assignments, projects, and deadlines.
Communicate and interact with clients, attorneys and expert witnesses.
Be able to work independently.
Demonstrate excellent people, oral, and written communication skills.
Possess a strong client service philosophy, responsiveness, and sense of urgency.
Work effectively in pressure situations with the ability to multi-task and be an excellent team player.
Occasionally maintain flexible working hours.
Maintain confidential Firm and client information.
